How Remote Control Works
Enable Remote Access - This can be found under the advanced settings on the tabs page (3 dots in the upper right-hand corner).
Generate a code - The therapist opens their provider portal or Wevana app and generates a secure, one-time control code specifically for the session. This code is unique and expires after use.
Share with user - The therapist provides the user with the generated code.
Enter the code - The user opens their app (e.g., Wevana app) on their device, clicks the remote access icon, and enters the code to begin the session.
Confirm Remote Control - Once the code is entered and confirmed, the therapist gains remote control of the user's tabs for the duration of the session. This connection is secure and temporary, ensuring privacy and control for both parties.
End the session - To end the session, either the therapist or the user can tap the session code icon and then end the session.
